• May 8, 2008 - Added a bunch more gig dates...it's gonna be a busy summer, be sure to come check us out..... gigs
• April 3, 2008 - Added some more date we are playing. Be sure to come check us out..... gigs
• April 2, 2008 - Well we got the website up and running again. Our domain had expired and it took a month to get it back . It won't happen again. Some mp3s have been added to the Listen section. We will be adding allot more, so keep checking back..... more tunes
• January 10, 2008 - Added a gig to our date list.... dates
• December 27, 2007 - Updated our date list dates. Added a nice story from Jamie McMillan. Thanks Jamie, your story really touched our hearts. Added a story by our own Rod Ramsay....Link
• October 29, 2007 - Added a couple of stories about Jim. Written by Dave Fearnal.....Link
• October 21, 2007 - Added some more gig dates. Changed the way pictures are viewed....now viewed with Flash! Added a bunch more pictures.
• October 15, 2007 -Got the MySpace link working. Not much there yet but keep checking....Link
• October 13, 2007 -Add a form for emailing. For those who don't use Outlook or similar programs..
• October 9, 2007 - Corrected some spelling errors on the site. Added some pictures and tunes to the Listen page. Added some more info to the Contact page.
• - The Bearcats new web site is up and running, finaly...but still under construction
• - These pages are not done but keep checking back for updates. They will happen all the time.

Welcome to our new web site. The Bearcats are back. We have a new look and some new tunes. We look forward to entertaining you. Please feel free to look around the site, if you have any suggestions, let us know. Follow the Contact link above to sign up for our mailing list, we will keep you informed of coming events, shows and general goings on with the band.

Please check out the tribute to Jim_Wayner section for some nice stories and memories of the good times we had playing with our dear friend. (still under construction)

The Bearcat News section (on this page, in the top left) will keep you informed of any new and interesting news about the band. This section will also keep you updated about any recent changes or additions to this site. So check back frequently as updates will happen frequently.

Who are the Bearcats?

The Bearcats are dedicated to their craft. They love making music. It doesn't matter where they play.... could be a festival, a Bar or in someones back yard for their birthday, you will always get their best effort and performance.

Based out of Owen Sound, Ontario. These guys have been playing together for seventeen years. With three sold out albums, the Bearcats will continue to entertain and have you up on the dance floor. Watch for the Bearcats cause they're coming to a town near you.

If they know it, and they probably do, they will play it...just ask. The Bearcats are there to have a good time and they will see to it that you do too. Better show up early though, you may end up in line waiting to get in. But you can still dance in the street.
